Graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing.  Licensed Georgia Real Estate Salesperson.  Has extensive experience volunteering in different ministries at Turner Chapel AME Church, Marietta, GA.  Member of the TCC Entrepreneurs Ministry, Women Anchored in the Lord Sunday School Class, Board Member of the Cobb Alcohol Task Force, Austell Community Taskforce, Treasurer of the Turner Chapel AME Church Adoption and Foster Care Ministry, Volunteer with the Atlanta Track Club.  Certificate of Completion -Community Leadership Development Program from the Cobb Collaborative.  Atlanta Chapter of the Southern University Alumni Association.  Math Tutor and Recruiter for #1 in Learning, an SES provider that offers free tutoring. Married to Clyde Vanderhorst, a mentor with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. Mother of two sons, Oscar and Joshua, two grandchildren, Christian and Chelsea. Resides in Smyrna, Georgia.
