A graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, Jacquelyn has extensive experience in prison ministries. She taught at the House of Refuge Ministries and did observations with the children. She was a Customer Service Representative for Delta Airlines for many years. The also worked as Secretary of Broadcasting at Word of Faith Ministries and Secretary of HBS at House of Refuge Ministries. She aspires to teach dance to youth
LaVon (Von) Meador grew up in Cincinnati,Ohio. Von went on to attendCentralStateUniversity where he earned a BS in Secondary Education. After graduation from Central State Von went on to attend Atlanta University where he received his MBA in Marketing Management.
After graduation of Atlanta University, Von entered the work force where he has accumulated many years of experience in a variety of fields, such as; 5 years as retail manager with May Company stores in St. Louis, Missouri, 5 years as retail manager with Sherwin William in Atlanta, Georgia, 10 years with the Fulton county Department of Family and Children Services, and 8 years at his current position with Bagley Youth Development as Deputy Director of Operations. At Bagley, he oversees a number of company operations such as; counseling program,mentoring, job readiness training, housing assistance, case managemt, community building, and resource linkages, just to namea few.
Von belongs to several professional business and civic organizations that provide information and resources to help empower those in the community who need it most. Von is also amember of Friendship Community Church of College Park. He is also amember of two other faith based collaboratives in his community.
Von and his wife of 37 years, Brenda, have 2 adult children and 1 grandchild.
A graduate of theUniversityofLouisiana at Lafayette. Acted as Program Director and Human Resource Manager at Devereaux Treatment Center in Kennesaw, Georgia. Served as Director of Excel (Wilderness Program) at Inner Harbor in Rockmart, Georgia. Executive Director of Charleston Marine Inst. and currently he is the Residential Compliance Coordinator for The Bridge Atlanta. All programs were working with adolescents with various diagnosis and legal issues.
